I wouldn’t normally do this, but I’ve recommended this to a friend of mine on several occasions. And yet, he has yet to take part in what I consider a fantastic film full of over-the-top production, sub-average acting, singing talent below par, and overall a truly enjoyable way to spend several hours.

That’s what I said. There’s nothing particularly -good- here. In fact, critics (though I haven’t researched it) probably don’t have such high remarks for this. Nonetheless, I was thoroughly entertained. Say what you will, but I thought this was a fantastic film. Full of imagination. Sure, in a commercial package. So what.

I know what I like. And I liked this. So, we’ll call my friend simply “A.” Rent it already!

And since you’re reading this, whoever you are… -you- rent it too. If you’re reading any of this nonsense that I write on a regular basis, you -just- might like it. Come what may…
